Five months after Solski Burson-Marsteller was established, the agency has 10 consultants who are working for a number of high-profile Polish and international clients.

Since June 2, when the agency started operating in its premises in downtown Warsaw, two client services team have been built: Technology Practice and Brand PR Practice. They currently are working on retainer for ALD Automotive, BLStream, Cisco Systems, Dilmah, EMC, Eurocopter, Henkel, IFS, KFC, Makro Cash & Carry, McAfee, and Pizza Hut.

All clients have been won through RFPs or successful pitches.

We also are carrying out activities for a few Burson-Marsteller clients.

Besides, we are executing a few short-term projects for clients such as BEWAG, Momail, Industrial Institute of Automation and Measurements, Sodexho, and TSYS.

Two new consultants, Elzbieta Mankowska-Tropilo and Sabina Figarska, joined the team in September.

Elzbieta Mankowska-Tropilo, Senior Account Manager, has 14 years’ experience in PR. She was employed by PR agency Sigma International, lately as Account Manager and head of client services team for Panasonic. Earlier Elzbieta worked for clients such as Agfa, Great Plains Software, National Clearing Chamber, Microsoft, Oki, and Siemens Mobile. Before embarking on PR career, she was a journalist at the PCWorld Computer magazine’s Polish edition for three years.

Sabina Figarska, Account Manager, has eight years’ PR and marketing experience. In 2005-2008 Sabina worked as a consultant at the M+G agency, working for clients such as Carlsberg, NG2, SFINKS, Empik Media & Fashion, UNIMIL and Dom Development. Prior to that she was employed by NBS Public Relations where she carried out internal communication and investor relations projects for clients such as Westdeutsche Landesbank, Bank Handlowy, PTC/Era GSM, PEKAES Autotransport, and Daewoo Motor.

Also, two junior account executives joined the team in the last few weeks. Anna Wlodarczyk, a student of journalism and social communication at the Journalism and Political Sciences Department of the Warsaw University, is a member of Brand PR Practice. Earlier, she underwent training at the Twenty Four Seven PR agency. Michal Lewandowski, a student of sociology at the Warsaw University, is a member of Technology Practice. Earlier, he underwent a three-month training at Burson-Marsteller’s office in Brussels.

Currently, we are building two more Practice Teams, Corporate and Financial Practice, and Healthcare Practice.
