Ryszard SolskiRyszard Solski, president and CEO of Solski Burson-Marsteller, was named, together with 20 other people, Manager of the Year 2009. The title is traditionally conferred by Poland’s business monthly magazine Home & Market on people in different industry sectors, who achieved spectacular success in managing their companies. At this year’s gala in Warsaw, presidents and CEOs of Poland’s biggest banks and enterprises, as well as a few mid-size firms, received the award certificates from the magazine’s chief editor Rita Schulz.

In a short speech, Ryszard Solski underlined that the award belonged to the agency’s whole team which in 2009 worked hard to generate the growth of revenue by 150 per cent.

2009 was the second year of Solski Burson-Marsteller’s rapid growth. The team grew by 50% – from 12 to 18 consultants, and won a number of new clients including, Roca, The Musketeers Group, Sanofi Pasteur, Cephalon, Merck Serono, Singapore Airlines, The Polish Factors Union, and the Ministry of State Treasury.
