Lufthansa German Airlines retains Solski Burson-Marsteller as their PR agency of record as of January 1, 2010.

The Lufthansa Group is headquartered in Frankfurt and currently employs over 118 ,000 staff working in five strategic business segments worldwide. Passenger transportation is the core business of the Lufthansa Group. It includes Lufthansa German Airlines (including Lufthansa Regional and Lufthansa Italia), Austrian Airlines, British Midland (bmi), SWISS, and Germanwings as well as the equity stakes in Brussels Airlines, JetBlue and SunExpress.

In 2008 Lufthansa German Airlines, a founding member of the Star Alliance welcomed around 57 million passengers on board, Lufthansa Cargo transported 1,918 tonnes of cargo and the Group recorded a revenue of 24,970 million euro.

Solski Burson-Marsteller will provide Lufthansa with public relations, media relations management and crisis communication support.
