A group media workshop is intended for officers and managers of various levels. Its purpose is to improve the participants’ media communications skills and prepare them to professional or social media communication by understanding the journalists’ needs, learning how to interact with them, how to deliver their messages, how to detect an attempted manipulation, and how to defend themselves against it. The participant also learns how the media work, and how to use them effectively to propagate their messages.
The workshop training includes several practical exercises, including typically three exercises conducted with a camera. The detailed program is always aligned to the specific trainee’s needs.
The workshop is intended for a group of up to six trainees. The training course typically lasts about eight hours.
