Sanofi Pasteur, a  vaccines’ part of the Sanofi Group, is the world’s biggest company solely producing human vaccines. The aim of the company is to protect people from communicable diseases by developing safe and effective vaccines. The company offers the widest range of vaccines for over 20 diseases. It provides over 1 billion vaccine doses a year, which allows for vaccination of over 500 million people around the world. The company, with headquarters in Lyon, France, employs over 14,000 people in its 14 production plants and/or R&D centers around the world, of which 50% are engaged in manufacturing.
