This year’s Lions International Festival of Creativity has brought Mastercard as many as nine awards, including the most important one – Titanium Lion, for their WhereToSettle campaign which Solski Communications supported. The awards were also given in two PR categories: Gold in PR Craft – Sponsorship & Brand Partnership and Bronze in Social Engagement & Influencer Marketing – Real-time Response

The campaign was developed in response to the Ukrainian refugee issue which was caused by Russia’s attack on Ukraine. Mastercard has released the WhereToSettle.com platform which aggregates data on shopping trends, statistical data, and gives access to current housing and job advertisements, thus becoming a place where refugees can find answers to many important questions and be able to arrange their lives in the new reality without unnecessary risks. The tool helps the Ukrainians living in Poland to become self-sufficient, achieve life stabilization as well as social and economic integration. About 300,00 Ukrainian refugees have made use of the tool.

Mastercard came out with the concept of the WhereToSettle platform, developed it and put in place in cooperation with McCANN Poland which was responsible for the development of strategy, creation and executing the promotional campaign. Solski Communications was responsible for PR activities.

The WhereToSettle campaign is one of the greatest achievements of Poland’s marketing industry in this reputable competition. It also is the first Polish campaign in Cannes to win Lions, including Gold, in PR categories.

The campaign’s team as recognized by the jury included Solski Communications’ consultants, Iwona Nawrocka-Kalinowska and Aleksandra Gołda.
